The ever popular Annual Railway Preservation Society of Ireland's trip down memory lane on "The Boyne" Steam Train Excursion takes place this year on Sunday July 21st.
There will be two seperate excursions with the train for Dundalk departing at 11.55 am and arriving back in Drogheda at 12.50 pm, this train, of course, takes passengers over the Boyne Viaduct with great views of the town.
The Skerries train departs at 1.45 pm arriving back at 3.35 pm with some great views of the coast.
Tickets are now available from Drogheda Tourist Office at the Tholsel. Adults €14 and children under 16 €8.
Cash only and customers are requested, where possible, to have the correct change.
These excursions are very popular and sell out quickly. Drogheda Tourist Office in the Tholsel, West Street opens Monday to Saturday 9 am - 5 pm.
