Ever thought about trying your hand at playing hockey? Well, this is your chance!
As the Men’s Irish Hockey Team prepare to compete in the summer Olympics in Paris, Boyne Hockey Club is offering anyone that is interested the chance to try the game ahead of the new season.
This is the ideal time to learn more about this exciting and fast-paced sport. This summer, from Mon 22 - Fri 26 July, (10am - 2pm) children of all ages can enjoy an action-packed week of fun and games while developing their hockey skills.
The course runs at Drogheda Grammar School, Mill Road, Drogheda and is open to continuing members and those new to hockey too, and costs just €90 per child for the full week (€170 for two children or €250 for three children from the same family). Hockey sticks are available to children trying out for the first time.

Boyne Hockey Club was founded in 2009 and since then has attracted over 300 members from both sides of the town and surrounding areas.
With membership and teams representing all ages, Boyne Hockey runs every week from Sept to April. Members get to mix with girls and boys, men and women from a wide catchment area, as well as participate in a league with other teams from the province.
