Boyne AC's Dara Ellie Winters on the way to booking her place in the final of the North Leinster 800m.
Last Tuesday three athletes did their club proud when they represented their school. At the pre North Leinster races held in Santy, Co Dublin, Dara Ellie Winters ran a fantastic race in the 800m heat to easily qualify and take her place in the final.

Next up was Shauna Rice who ran brilliantly in the mile race consistency despite the race being strongly supported, earning a well-deserved fifth place. More to come from this young athlete.
On Sunday, Euan Canniffe took a Silver Medal in the Men’s Javelin… with an impressive throw of 50.39m at The National Spring Throws competition in Tullamore. This young man is always bringing home the medals due to his hard work and dedication.
