How long could you keep your eyes open to help support two worthy charities? That was the question which led to what turned out to be a long night last Friday as Boomerang’s young members took the initiative to ‘give back’ to their community by holding a sponsored stay awake night in their club roooms. What FUN!!!

Following on from the Darkness into Light events last weekend, the young people at Boomerang decided to support Pieta House and SOSAD Drogheda through sponsorship from family and friends by staying Awake from 8.00pm to 8.00am.

Everybody really enjoyed the night which you can see by clicking on Boomerang’s social media page www.facebook.com/BoomerangCafeDrogheda .Check out all those amazing pics!

Boomerang would like to give a big thank you to everyone who sponsored the participants.

“We would also like to thank and acknowledge the fantastic support and the generous donations made by several businesses in Drogheda” said a spokesperson. “Thank you, together we are making a difference.”

The businesses who supported the initiative are:

  • Four Star Pizza Drogheda.
  • E J Sampson’s Butcher’s Drogheda.
  • Marks and Spencer Drogheda.
  • Tesco West Street, Drogheda.
  • Dealz Drogheda Town Centre.
  • Eurospar Bredin Street.
