The Peugeot Bipper Van (08 D 124410) which was parked in the vicinity of Castlemartin Close and Eastham Close between 30th October and 4th November 2019. It was found burnt out at Eastham Road after the shooting.
Gardaí investigating the fatal shooting of 39 year old Richie Carberry at Castlemartin Drive, Bettystown at approximately 11.40pm on Monday 4th November 2019, are appealing to the public for information on two vehicles thought to have been used in the course of the crime.
They are appealing to anyone who may have information on the shooting or anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the vicinity of the Castlemartin Estate/Eastham Road area in the days and weeks prior to Monday 4th November 2019 to contact them.
In particular, Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have seen a Peugeot Bipper Van (08 D 124410) between 27th September 2019 and the 4th November 2019.
It was bought in South Dublin on 27th September 2019 and investigators are aware that it was parked in the vicinity of Castlemartin Close and Eastham Close between 30th October and 4th November 2019.

Anyone who may have observed this van or anyone entering or exiting the van at any time after the 27th September 2019 are asked to contact Gardaí.
Gardaí are also appealing to anyone who may have observed a Blue Ford Fiesta (06 D 80706) in the vicinity of Eastham Court, Eastham Road or the general Bettystown area in the days and weeks leading up to Monday 4th November 2019.This car was found burnt out at The Grange, Ballyboughal, Dublin following the fatal shooting incident.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have encountered this vehicle between Bettystown and Ballyboughal between the hours of 11.40pm on Monday 4th November 2019 and 12.20am on Tuesday 5th November 2019, in particular road users who may have camera footage, to contact Gardaí.
