The good weekend continued on Sunday at the uneven age Louth Cross Country Championships in Darver.  The morning couldn't have started any better with Cathryn Cumming winning the U9 Louth Championship with a dominant performance. Cathryn had a super start leading from the gun and winning  comfortably in the end.

U11 Ruairi Cooney was next to medal with a brilliant performance to secure a Louth Silver. Ruairi had one of his best ever runs, and battled it out, right to the bitter end, just missing out on gold by a few seconds.

In the girls u11's there were three good performances with the ever improving Ella Doyle the first Ace athlete to cross the line, followed by two strong performances from Sophie Black and Niamh Lynch.

Ciara O'Connor was next to medal securing the u17 Louth title in style after a strong run in what was a mixed u19-u19 race.

Meanwhile in the boys u17's, Lorcan Forde Dunne returning from a long term injury, still managed to win the boys title. Daniel Hanley, Tadgh Forde Dunne, Liam Lynch, Killian Sheridan and Jamie O'Reilly made up the wining team.

There were many more good Ace AC performances on the day with Hannah Black, Kate O'Donnell, Tayo Lawence, Troy Volkoff and Lacey McEveer all running well.

Well done with ace AC coaches Ian Marron, Angela Kearney and Maeve Nolan who completed the Dublin Marathon on Sunday.
