“That’s why we always strive to source as many Irish made products as possible. To see these products triumph on the international stage is immensely satisfying to us and a testament to our amazing suppliers.”
Great Taste, organised by the Guild of Fine Foods, is widely regarded as the world’s largest and most trusted food accreditation scheme. Since 1994, thousands of products have been put through their paces and subjected to Great Taste’s notoriously rigorous judging process.
An expert panel of figures from all corners of the food world, including chefs, restaurateurs and food critics, blind taste each product without any knowledge of brand or label. This makes for a truly impartial judging process and means that customers can trust that only the best tasting products will earn a seal of approval from Great Taste.
With products from across the core and Specialbuys range earning accolades at this year’s Great Taste Awards, ALDI has cemented its status as the top performing Irish supermarket as well as one that is dedicated to supporting and showcasing the best of Irish produce.
