Ace AC athletes got in some vital race practice for the upcoming Louth Cross Country Championships at the open cross country event held at Drogheda & District AC in Newtown yesterday.

Catryn Cumming impressed with a silver medal in the under nine race 9, while there was a  great debut for u12 Darragh Cisse who had a wonderful race finishing 12th out of 38.

Fellow U12 Sean Clarke is improving weekly at training and also ran very well.  Ruairi Cooney was a strong 5th in the same race. Niall Murray won another u19 gold while Eimear Cooney secured silver in the girls u18.

There were many good Ace performances on the day with some of the best coming from Tadgh Forde Dunne, Seamie Sheridan, Tayo Lawernce and Lauren Faulkner.
