It has been confirmed that that five Louth based organisations will benefit from a total of €25k through the Community Integration Fund.
Welcoming the announcement, Local Fine Gael TD Fergus O’Dowd said: “The funding has been made available through to the Department Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth to local community-based projects that support the integration of migrants.
“All five projects received the maximum grant of €5k to involve both migrant and host communities in the activities proposed.
“County Louth has played a very significant role in welcoming and integrating migrants and refugees and I look forward to seeing the successful projects progress.”

The four successful projects in Louth, each of which will receive €5,000, are: Autism Support Louth & Meath for their Ukrainian Translation Project, the Development Perspectives Momentum programme, the Oriel Traditional Orchestra and Street Feast Together, County Louth.
