Part of the Credit Union’s ethos is their community involvement and what better way to express that than to give two local charities a great start to 2019 with some much needed funding from Drogheda Credit Union’s donation fund.
Saint Vincent de Paul and Drogheda Homeless Aid were two such charities who were thrilled with their donation.
“There is a new layer of people who require our services now”, said Michael Grogan Area President for Drogheda SVP, “this funding will make a great impact.
“We wouldn’t be able to offer the support and services without donations such as this one from the Credit Union”.

The Homeless Aid in Drogheda who can accommodate up to 25 men on any given night or typically 140 men staying over a 12 month period were also delighted with their donation.
Accepting on behalf of the centre, Ray Hughes commented, “Donations like this from our local community are so important for us to be able to offer the service that we do”.
Drogheda Credit Union with branches in Drogheda, Bettystown, Dunleer and Trim make donations on behalf of the membership to better the community in which they are based.
If you are a charity or an organisation who is in need of funding please feel free to write to the Board of Drogheda Credit Union outlining your request which will be reviewed each month.
