Tánaiste to address local businesses on international and cross border trade post Brexit


Tánaiste Simon Coveney is to be the main speaker at a major FREE event to be held in the Carrickdale Hotel on 7th February 2018 to help businesses gear up for Brexit.

The event is being hosted by Louth County Council and Newry, Mourne and Down District Council, Newry Chamber of Commerce & Trade, Dundalk Chamber, Local Enterprise Office Louth.

This is a chance to hear up-to-date insights from guest speaker Tánaiste and Irish Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade Simon Coveney on how to plan for Brexit.

There will also be practical workshops on specific Brexit-related issues such as VAT, Customs, Tax and Rules of Origin.

Tips on how to prepare for the challenge with a panel discussion on people, supply chain and currency with SME company experiences.
