Nominees for Louth Business Woman of the Year announced

The nominees have been announced for the 2017 Network Louth Business Woman of the Year Awards.

They are Bronagh Conlon of Listoke Distillery & Gin School, Vivienne Mee - VM Forensics, Georgina McKenna - Count Her In, Karen Morgan Murphy - Travel Counsellors and Darryl Gibney of Wellclik.

Speaking ahead of this year’s awards, Network Ireland Louth President, Regina Behan explained how choosing a winner will not be easy for the judges.

“We have an amazing array of business talent in Co Louth as proven last year when Louth won at the national awards’ says Regina.

An independent panel of judges will select not just our regional winner but the nominee who will best represent Louth on a national stage’.

The winner will be announced at the network’s awards luncheon on May 31st where the winner will then go on to represent Louth in the national awards in Druids Glen, Wicklow in October.

Network Louth is undoubtedly looking to mirror their success in 2016 when their regional winners took home 50% of the gongs at the Network Ireland national awards in Cork.

Alma Jordan of AgriKids walked away with the ‘Emerging Business’ while Yvonne Brady of EVB Sport took home the Small Established Business award.

Network Ireland Business Women of the Year Awards celebrate the excellence, professionalism, vision and leadership of their members.
