The Gin Parlour at the Black Bull Inn.
Gin - they say it makes you sin. American poet, author and wit Dorothy Parker once famously said “after three I’m under the table, after four I’m under my host.”
Gin is the “in” drink of the moment and Drogheda’s gin drinkers will be delighted to hear about the newest venue in town, The Gin Parlour, which is at the Black Bull Inn.
With over 40 local and premium gins, The Gin Parlour boasts a fantastic range of gin-inspired drinks and cocktails. It’s a gin lover’s paradise! Even if you don’t know your Hendricks from your Haymans or your Listoke from your Langtons, you’re still guaranteed a great night out - whether or not you progress to the fourth!
Jay Egan, owner of The Black Bull Inn says; “We’re delighted to bring a fantastic new venue to the people of Drogheda and beyond. Gin is undergoing a revival and we wanted to offer a great experience based on this. We’ve the whole package here – gin, food and wonderful surroundings.”
Opened in the former China Shop at The Black Bull Inn, the new bar has had a complete makeover including the installation of a stunning mirrored wall where many of the gins are on display. A variety of food is available to order so you can nibble away while you sip at your drinks.
If the sun shines, you can even take it outside to the Gin Garden which has plenty of fabulous seating to catch the summer sun from.
So, if you’re looking for a unique atmosphere and something new for your next night out make sure you visit The Gin Parlour. It’s open weekdays from 4pm and Saturday and Sunday from 2pm.
