DESCRIPTION:\nDroichead Arts Centre is delighted to launch the Night Moves Summer Series,a new programme of intimate evening music events taking place across May,June and July in Droichead’s café/bar and gallery spaces.\n\n\n\nFollowing the success of the Night Moves Café events throughout the year, theSummer Series continues the programme’s mission to create vibrant,welcoming cultural experiences in Drogheda after dark.\n\n\n\nThe first event takes place on Friday 8 May at 9pm in the Droichead GallerySpace, with singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Peadar Connollyperforming Songs of Longing.\n\n\n\nDrawing on his background in ethnomusicology and global musical traditions,Connolly presents an intimate live performance shaped by themes ofmigration, love, place and memory.
