Graham O'Rourke and Mark Reilly of young Drogheda Company Aphix Software will represent Louth in the upcoming National Enterprise Awards where they’ll be competing against the cream of Irish businesses.
Their cloud platform is taking the world by storm and Aphix, which currently employs 13 people at its office in The Mill ENterprise Hub, is hotly tipped to do well at the glittering awards ceremony on 25th May in the Mansion House Dublin with guest of honour An Taoiseach Enda Kenny TD.
Louth’s Head of Enterprise, Thomas McEvoy, is certainly impressed. He says that Aphix Software is “a shining example of entrepreneurship and innovation”.
“They have brought together the world of technology and finance. Their cloud platform allows warehouses to connect with finance systems, sales reps on the road and customers to produce real-time information on stock and pricing. Founded in 2014, the company has grown rapidly and is now one of the most secure and flexible e-Commerce platforms in the world."
Competition at the National Enterprise Awards is always tough and Aphix Software will compete with leading enterprises from across the country. Past winners include companies such as Irish Yoghurts, Innovate, Grouse Recording Studios and Simtech Aviation that have gone on to become household names.
The awards will be presented by An Taoiseach Enda Kenny and Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Mary Mitchell O'Connor.
“We’re looking forward to a wonderful evening at the National Enterprise Awards and wish the team at Aphix Software the very best as they compete for this prestigious title” Thomas concluded.
